2025 Vetch hay baled on the 13th of October. Ideal curing conditions, no rain or dews. Average bale weight 680kg. Baled with 8 String Krone baler. Excellent green colour and soft texture. Great leaf retention. Moisture average 11.9% with majority reading 12%. No high moistures. Highest moisture read 13.7%. Stored in a good shed with good access to the road.

An excellent stack of barley hay prepared in ideal conditions without rain and well stored in a new shed. The whole operation only took 8 days so colour, leaf retention etc is all very good. Moisture content is very even averaging 10.3%

2025 Oaten Hay baled on the 26th of October. Average bale weight is 680kg. Baled with an 8 string Krone baler. Mix of Kingbale and Archer oats. Conditioned when cut. Ideal curing conditions. No rain. Average moisture of 11.4%. Lowest was 9.2% and highest was 14.3%. Very even and consistent moisture readings. Soft in texture. Excellent leaf and head retention. Excellent green colour. Not much sunbleaching. Great storage and access for trucks.

Irrigated 2nd cut lucerne hay cut with mower conditioner and cured in 8 days. Good leaf content and colour in bales. Average moisture of 13.2%. Sound well made bales stacked safely in an open shed with cement floor

Irrigated 3rd cut lucerne hay in 8x4x3 bales. Cut with mower conditioner and cured in hot dry conditions over 5 days. Baled with the assistance of a steamer. Leaf has good colour and content in bales. Normal to course in texture. Average moisture of 13.5% Small amount of volunteer wheat and Hog weed in some bales

3rd cut irrigated lucerne hay in 8x4x3 bales. Stacked outside with Oaten bales protecting bottom, top and ends of row. Waiting on new shed. Cut with mower conditioner and cured in 6 days in hot dry conditions. Steamer used to assist in getting quality hay into bales. Average moisture of 11.5%. Very good leaf colour with dry course texture.

4 th cut irrigated lucerne hay in 8x4x3 bales. Cured in hot dry conditions. Hay has very good leaf content and colour with course dry stems. Average bale moisture of 11.7%

Oaten hay in sound 8x4x3 bales stack in safe shed. Cut with mower conditioner cured in good conditions over 15 days raked once in front of baler. Has good colour and normal to soft texture. Moisture between 10 to 12%. This line of Oaten hay would suit the fussiest feed applications

Soft texture and good leaf retention. Moisture readings averaged 12.3% with mist reading between 11-12%. Very consistent readings. One bale read 17.3%. Fresh and sweet hay aroma. Nice evenly shaped bales. Good shed and easily accessible to road.
