Oaten lucerne irrigated hay in sound 8x4x3 bales. Cut with mower conditioner and cured in cool conditions over three weeks. Some lodging in oats prior to cutting causing variable stem lengths and minor staining of leaf and stems. Remainder greater then 50% green colour. Normal to soft texture. Average moisture of 13.2% moisture

Good 3rd cut lucerne hay well prepared in hot conditions with 3 millimetres of rain on windrow & stored in a good shed. Cured quickly with an average moisture content of 12.5%

Nice hay will draw livestock to feed. The line of hay is consistent with 1mm of rain during curing in the mower cut. Hay has retained 50% of its colour. Average moisture reading 14.9%.
