Benatas vetch hay in 8 string 8x4x3 bales. Cut early with mower conditioner and cured over three weeks with 1 raking. Lovely quality green leaf with soft texture and short stems.

An excellent stack of barley hay prepared in ideal conditions without rain and well stored in a new shed. The whole operation only took 8 days so colour, leaf retention etc is all very good. Moisture content is very even averaging 10.3%

Titan Barley Hay

This hay presents as a well rounded lot with great colour retention and sweet smell. Solid bales with tight moisture range between 9.6% and 11.1%. Average bale weight 10.5%.

Vetch hay in 8x4x3 bales 8 string. Over 700kg. Cut at full flower with some early pods. Cut with mower conditioner and cured over 21 days with a light fall rain. 1 raking. Has retained good colour with soft texture.

Good quality hay, optimum baling time. Nice colour and good leaf retention. Weighbridge on site, good gravel access. Easy for b-double trucks or road trains to get around the yard.

Wheaten hay cured over 14 days in windy conditions with 5 millimetres of rain. Good colour and leafy, well shedded, moisture content averaging 10.9%

Neo barley in good secure shed on plastic. Soft handling, has retained a good amount of colour and has a nice aroma. About 10 mm of rain on windrow has had very little effect. Shedded within a few days of baling Heads are well formed but with no grain.

2025 barley straw

2025 Vetch Hay baled on the 28th of October. Average bale weight 650kg. 6 strings. Conditioned when cut. It had about 6mm in two separate rainfall events but no damage on bales from that. Average moisture of 12.4%. Even and consistent readings of about 12%. Lowest moisture was 10.1% and highest was 14.2%. Normal in texture. Leaf retention is good however leaf may become detached when disturbed. Nice dark green colour. Not too sunbleached. Fresh sweet hay aroma. Great storage and access to the road for trucks.

Oaten hay in 8 string 8x4x3 bales. Cut with mower conditioner and cured over three weeks with 1 raking. Had small fall rain during curing but hay has retained good soft texture and colour. Average moisture of 13.8%

2025 Oaten Hay baled on the 29th of October. Light rain event during curing period, less than 5mm and dried out quick. Average bale weight 730kg. Cut using a mower conditioner. Large square bales 8x4x3 and 8 string. Average moisture 11.7%. Lowest moisture was 10.3% and highest was 13.9%. Stem length in bale ranging from 15-20cm. Very soft in texture and good leaf retention. Good green colour in bale, a bit of sun bleaching and less than 5% black spotting. Fresh and sweet hay aroma. Great access for trucks from road.
