An excellent stack of barley hay prepared in ideal conditions without rain and well stored in a new shed. The whole operation only took 8 days so colour, leaf retention etc is all very good. Moisture content is very even averaging 10.3%

500 bales of top grade oaten hay produced without weather damage showing excellent colour. Cured over 10 days and immediately stacked in an excellent shed good moisture content 12%

This hay presents as a well rounded lot with great colour retention and sweet smell. Solid bales with tight moisture range between 9.6% and 11.1%. Average bale weight 10.5%.

Wheaten hay, baled on 11/10/25. Ideal curing conditions. Good colour and aroma. Normal texture. Moisture ranging from 10-14% mostly. Even bales and ends. Some rye in bales about 5-10%. Cut when ryegrass wasn’t mature and any seeds will not be viable

Good quality hay, optimum baling time. Nice colour and good leaf retention. Weighbridge on site, good gravel access. Easy for b-double trucks or road trains to get around the yard.

Large square bales oaten/ vetch hay. Oats definitely look the dominant species in the bale but when you pull it apart you can see the vetch leaf in among it. 65% oats at a guess. Good leaf/ no rain. Good colour and aroma. Stored in lined floor shed. Average moisture 13.3%.

Vetch crop with even germination during a dry start. Good establishment and expected to grow well from now to cutting with warmer weather and recent rain. Planted on 20 inch spacings. Rolled after planting to assist with baling. Small amount of residual stubble. An excellent stack of well prepared vetch hay a very good sweet smelling aroma. Currently being stacked in an excellent shed with very good drainage without weather damage. Moisture was between 10 & 18 with an average of 12.4

Wheaten hay cured over 14 days in windy conditions with 5 millimetres of rain. Good colour and leafy, well shedded, moisture content averaging 10.9%

500 tonnes of good vetch hay prepared in cool conditions even quality across the stack which is on plastic in an excellent shed good moisture content averaging 12.8%

Neo barley in good secure shed on plastic. Soft handling, has retained a good amount of colour and has a nice aroma. About 10 mm of rain on windrow has had very little effect. Shedded within a few days of baling Heads are well formed but with no grain.

Languedoc vetch with good green colour which is spoiled somewhat by residual wheat stubble. Nice aroma. On plastic in good secure shed with all weather access. Light rain extended the curing time but has not had much effect.

2025 Vetch Hay baled on the 28th of October. Average bale weight 650kg. 6 strings. Conditioned when cut. It had about 6mm in two separate rainfall events but no damage on bales from that. Average moisture of 12.4%. Even and consistent readings of about 12%. Lowest moisture was 10.1% and highest was 14.2%. Normal in texture. Leaf retention is good however leaf may become detached when disturbed. Nice dark green colour. Not too sunbleached. Fresh sweet hay aroma. Great storage and access to the road for trucks.
