Hay has had 17 mm of rain during curing. Reasonable leaf retention. Overall colour is mainly brown with odd tinges of green. Raked before baling.

Heavy bales of oats with at least 50% brome grass. Mostly the brome was cut before seed was developed but there is some more mature stems. Has avoided black spotting and retained a little color. Average moisture is 14.9 %. Hayguard was applied at baling. Percentage of brome and oats mix varies across the lot.

Morava vetch stored in good secure shed on plastic. A number of light rain events have darkened this hay but still has some green stems and retains a fair aroma Silac was used at baling. Fairly dry with an average of 10.8 moisture

2025 Vetch hay baled on the 11th of October. Ideal curing conditions, no rain or dews. Average bale weight 700kg. Baled with 8 String Krone baler. Excellent green colour and soft texture. Great leaf retention. Stored in a good shed with good access to the road.

2025 Cereal Rye hay baled on the 23rd of September. Ideal curing conditions, no rain or dews. Average bale weight 650kg. Baled with 8 String Krone baler. Excellent green colour. Moisture average 8.1%. Stored in a good shed with good access to the road.
