Oates Hay baled on the 2nd of November. Large square bales, 6 string. Nice even shaped bales. Stacked in paddock. Ideal curing conditions, no significant rain events during the curing period. A little bit of barley and brome visible in the odd bale end. Good colour and texture. Fresh hay aroma.

Heavy bales of wimmera ryegrass and barley with ryegrass being the larger component. The barley was before milky dough stage when cut. Little rain during curing so very little black spot. Sun bleaching has taken out most of the colour. Soft handling. Cut from a clean paddock, baled and inoculated with a six string Krone and stored in a secure shed with good access on day of baling.

Neo barley hay cut before milky dough stage and stored in a good secure shed on plastic with all weather access including road trains Bales around 670kg. About 25-30mm of rain on windrow took the colour out but still showing a lot of green. Normal to soft handling texture with a nice aroma. Bale Shield inoculant was used. Light spray with Cameras of Glyphosate was sprayed on the windrow to prevent regrowth.

2025/26 Barley Header Tailings in tight and neat 6 and 8 string bales. Soft handling with no black spotting with the odd yellow stem. Normal aroma not dusty. On plastic in good secure shed. Average moisture reading 12.9%.

Heavy bales of ryegrass and oats. Baled on 30th October stacked six high in paddock- no covers. This hay appears to have avoided any black spotting and has retained some green colour. 13.9 % average moisture, with a high of 22% Hayguard was applied at baling It has a good aroma.

Scepter Wheaton hay shedded straight after baling into good secure shed with all weather access. Heavy 8 string bales. Dodged a lot of the seasons wet curing weather but still endured 20 mm rain which has caused some black spotting. Sun has bleached most of the green colour. Has a dry texture but has a fair aroma. Milky dough seed very evident. Silac was used.

Scepter Wheaton hay in heavy 8 string bales raked once and stored in good secure shed on plastic with good all weather access on the same day. Soft to medium texture and a fair aroma. Suffered significant rain on windrow during curing which has caused some black spotting and sun bleaching during a long curing period.

Normal to dry texture with a good aroma. Bale Shield inoculant was used. Average moisture 10.9%

Heavy bales of oats with at least 50% brome grass. Mostly the brome was cut before seed was developed but there is some more mature stems. Has avoided black spotting and retained a little color. Average moisture is 14.9 %. Hayguard was applied at baling. Percentage of brome and oats mix varies across the lot.

Mulgara oaten hay stored in a good shed on plastic with good all weather access. 12.2 average moisture with a dry texture. A number of light rain events on windrow has taken out some of the colour but has a nice aroma. Silac was used and the hay was chopped at baling

Scepter wheat stored in a good shed on plastic with all weather access. A dry texture. Sun bleached with a little black spot caused by a number of light rain events during a difficult curing. However, there are still some green stems Silac was used at baling

Morava vetch stored in good secure shed on plastic. A number of light rain events have darkened this hay but still has some green stems and retains a fair aroma Silac was used at baling. Fairly dry with an average of 10.8 moisture
