Line of a dedicated oaten hay crop. Ryegrass and volunteer barely evident. Cut at full flower and raked immediately 2 in 1. Raked again in front of baler. Rain during curing process very evident with some staining on top of the row but being a thin stemmed “droughted crop” 80% of the hay is a good colour with good aroma. Baled with an 8 string krone baler at 11-15% with hay king applied at baling. Stacked and shedded immediately.
