Hay Mate Max: our top model. Temperature, humidity, rainfall and wind monitoring for your hay paddocks, with phone call and SMS alerts. Spend less time checking paddocks and get more sleep between baling windows. Hay Mate monitors conditions where you're working. Check readings and graphs on your phone, set your own humidity threshold, and get a call or SMS when it's reached. Alerts can also go to the people you nominate on your hay team. How it works • Logs temperature and humidity every 5 minutes • Measures rainfall and wind at the paddock • Sends readings to the cloud and app every 10 minutes • Shows trends over time in the Hay Mate app • Calls and texts when your chosen humidity threshold is reached • Telstra 4G/4GX with a pre-installed SIM (suitable coverage required) • Solar powered with built-in battery storage, so no routine recharging during normal outdoor use • Commercial-grade, Australian-made hardware Included ✓ First year of data and app use ✓ Graphs over time and humidity alarms Renewal from year two: $475 per year incl. GST. Price is per unit, excluding GST ($5,500 incl. GST). Also available: Hay Mate Mini (temperature and humidity) and Hay Mate Medium (adds rainfall). Optional extra sensors include a second temp/humidity sensor for the windrow, a soil probe, a rain gauge and an ultrasonic wind sensor. Message us to talk through which unit suits your operation. Note: Hay Mate measures air conditions in the paddock, not moisture inside bales.
