Boer goats are one of the most popular meat goat breeds, well known for their excellent growth rate, fertility, and quality meat production.
They are typically recognised by their distinctive white bodies with brown heads, although some Boer goats can also be completely brown or white. Like Nubian goats, they have long, pendulous ears and are known for their calm temperament, fast growth, and strong adaptability.
Boer does (females) are highly valued for their outstanding mothering ability and reliable breeding performance. For commercial meat production, medium-sized does are often preferred as they produce strong, healthy kids while maintaining efficient feed requirements.
Whether you are looking to expand your breeding herd or start a new Boer goat operation, these goats are an excellent choice.
