Vetch crop planted on good moisture. 520ha planted 2 ton ha yield 8x4x3 bales 650kg weight. planted into barley stubble. Will mower condition. Will be shedded.Hutches paddock. No standing stubble.

Wheaten hay cut full flower possible milky dough seed. Cured over good conditions with average moisture of 14.7. With highest recording of 16.7%. Has retained over 50% green leaf.

Oaten crop in good health to be cut mid September with double roller. Planted at 100kg seed and 65kg MAP on 30cm rows. Planted dry in late April germinating on rain 2 weeks later. Has had a near 200mm rain during growing period. Previous crop was wheat and possible small amount of residual stubble and paddock not worked. Preplant spray of Boxer Gold and incrop MCPA and Lontrel Adv. Small amount of rye grass possible. Oaten hay in 8x4x3 bales cured in good condition. Has retained good colour with normal to soft texture. Some variability in stem lengths in bales. Average moisture of 12.7% with a tight range.minor amount of rye grass possible.

500 tonnes of good vetch hay prepared in cool conditions even quality across the stack which is on plastic in an excellent shed good moisture content averaging 12.8%

2025 vetch hay baled on 10th November. Average bale weight 620kg. Baled with an 8 string Krone baler. Conditioned when cut. Ideal curing conditions. No rain events. Vetch is a mix of Morava and Benetas. Average moisture is 12%. Lowest was 9.8% and highest was 15.7%. Majority consistently even moisture readings between 11-12%. Normal texture. Leaf retention is great. Leaf may become detached when disturbed. Nice green colour. Outside of bales are sunbleached. Sweet and fresh hay aroma. Great storage and access for trucks.

Oaten crop with even germination at tillering stage. Rolled after planting. Had dry start with good falls rain in last 6 weeks. Has had broadleaf weed spray. Expected to yield 6 ton ha. 700 bales of oaten hay prepared in cool conditions slowing the process, good well baled hay averaging 12.9% moisture content & stored on plastic in an excellent shed

Vetch crop with even germination during a dry start. Good establishment and expected to grow well from now to cutting with warmer weather and recent rain. Planted on 20 inch spacings. Rolled after planting to assist with baling. Small amount of residual stubble. An excellent stack of well prepared vetch hay a very good sweet smelling aroma. Currently being stacked in an excellent shed with very good drainage without weather damage. Moisture was between 10 & 18 with an average of 12.4

Barley hay in 8x4x3 bales. Cut with mower conditioner and cured in reasonable conditions nation’s with no rain. Some grain evident. Raked once. Average moisture 12.5%. Stacked in good shed with dry weather access only.

Vetch Hay

Approx. 240 tonnes of oaten, rye and vetch hay from 70ha near Temora NSW, to be baled 5–15 October 2026. Blend: approx. 66% Yarran oats / 33% Timok vetch. Bales: half 8x4x3 large squares (approx. 550kg) and half 8x3x3 large squares (approx. 450kg). Bale weights to be confirmed once baling is complete. Storage: shedded. Practically all of it will be stored in a shed; anything not in the shed will sit on a concrete floor with barley hay bales as a roof. Managed by Feed Central Trading. Inspection and feed testing to be arranged.

2026 Frosted bearded wheaten hay has reasonable colour and leaf retention does contain some grain visible paddock stacked with hay caps. Average moisture 12.6%

Awnless wheat crop 188ha following a canola crop i 2025. Had 24d Amine 1 ltr and Soprano 0.125ltr/ha applied 25th Aug. Will be cut with mower conditioner and expected to be baled with 8 string 8x4x3 in late December.
