2025 Barley hay baled on the 21st October. Average bale weight is 635kg. All in the shed. 6 string 8x4x3 bales. Average moisture was 11.6%. Lowest was 10% and highest 13.3%. No high readings. Moisture readings mostly around 11%. Soft in texture. Great leaf and head retention. Good green colour. Not much sunbleaching. Sweet and fresh hay aroma. Great shed and good access to the road for trucks.

Barley Hay baled on the 15th of November 2025. 6 string 8x4x3 bales. Average bale weight 620kg. Some bales are still stacked outside, waiting to be put into shed. Those bales outside do have some staining on stems on exterior of bale. Cooler curing conditions. Cut with a mower conditioner. Bales already in shed have the odd staining on stems. Average moisture of 11.1%. No high readings. Lowest was 8.8% and highest was 14.1%. Very soft in texture and excellent leaf and head retention. There is some wheat in this barley hay. Nice green colour, not too much sunbleaching on the inside of bales. Sweet and fresh hay aroma. Good shed and good access to the road for trucks.

Oaten Hay with good colour retention despite weather event during curing. Good aroma and texture. Average moisture of 11.1%

Irrigated Oaten hay in 8 string 8x4x3 bales. Cut early with mower conditioner. Cured over 28 days with light fall rain half way through curing. Soft in texture with approx 50% green leaf. Average moisture of 11.9%. Heavy well made bales.

Headland hay so there is some staining due to weather event during curing. Reattained some colour and aroma. Average moisture reading 10.4% Grower to transport

Barley Rye hay in 8x4x3 6 and 7 string bales. cut mower conditioner. Barley at milky dough stage. Some variability in % of rye grass between bales. Crop stressing due lack of moisture. Cured over three weeks. Small amount of internal blackspot and water marking evident. Normal to soft in texture. Average moisture of 12.4% Brux reading of 10. Crop grower under Biological Regenag
