Wheaten Straw Header Tailings

Bearded irrigated wheaten hay to be baled end of September into 8x4x3 bales. Irrigated 40ha with another 40ha outside. Will be stacked in shed once baled. Have had good rain through growing period with little difference in quality of crop between irrigated and dryland areas. Crop at early flowering stage and cutting with mower conditioner around the 12th Sept. Had 1 fungicide application on the 18th Aug. Yield expected to be between 7 to 8 ton ha. Good all weather access

Morgan Field peas planted into 180ha. Previous crop barley. Cultivated in fallow. Will be shaded when bales. Planted end March. Baling Mid to end of September. Received 170mm rain in first two months of growth. 1/9/26 peas flowering well new photos added. Crop in good health. Will be cutting in next few days. Being baled in 8 string 8x4x3 bales. With good curing conditions expect will grade and feed test very well.

Fathom barley planted into 200ha into canola crop from previous year. Planted after inch rain. Kelly chained in fallow. 400mm LVE MCPA and 150mm Startane in crop. Planted on 13inch spacing. Has had 150mm rain since planting in first 2 months of growth.

300 ha Coolabah oats planted with expected baling around end of September. Planted mid May 12 inch spacing on an inch of rain with good subsoil moisture. Has had 160mm rain over 2 months since planting. Well established. Previous group Faba Beans. I crop spray of 400mm MCPA and 20mm Priority. Small amount of Rye grass evident in crop.

Oaten crop following canola crop. Kelly chained in front of planting. Sprayed in crop with MCPA and Starane for broadleaf weed control. Has had 170mm rain on since planting in first two months. Some areas showing water logging.

Barley planted into 175ha in May/June with 170mm rain in two months since planting. Followed from oats previous season. Kelly chained prior to planting. Sprayed in crop LVE MCPa and 300mm Starane.
