Barley hay baled on the 18th of October 2025. Bales weight average is 680kg. Bales are 6 string and 8 string. A contractor helped with baling. Excellent green colour. Soft texture. Fresh and sweet hay aroma. Moisture readings average is 11.4%. No high moistures. Ideal curing conditions.

Oaten hay baled on 1st of November. Moisture around 12% mostly. No high moistures. Fresh hay aroma, soft texture and nice green colour. Leaf retention is also great. No weeds present. Baled and stacked within same day. Baled with an 8 string Krone baler. Heavy bales averaging about 800-850kg.

Vetch hay baled on 20th October 2025. Bales weigh about 677kg. Ideal curing conditions. Bales are stacked outside with hay caps. Moisture readings were mostly 10-13%. 4 bales read higher than 18% including one reading 39%. Good green colour despite being stacked outside. Leaf retention is also good with leaves only becoming detached when disturbed. Fresh sweet hay aroma. Road is easily accessible for trucks.

2025 Vetch hay baled on the 24/10/25. Average bale weight 650kg. 6 string 8x4x3 bales. Variety is timok. Some medic in hay. Cut with a mower conditioner. No risk during curing period. Half of the vetch is in the shed on boort Kerang road and half on dear rd. Same lot. Average moisture 12.7%. Lowest was 10.6%. Only two higher readings which were 17.1% and 17.4%. Nice green colour, not too much sunbleaching and no staining. Soft in texture and excellent leaf retention. May become detached only when disturbed. Sweet and fresh hay aroma. Great storage and good access to the road for trucks.

2025 Barley hay baled on the 21st October. Average bale weight is 635kg. All in the shed. 6 string 8x4x3 bales. Average moisture was 11.6%. Lowest was 10% and highest 13.3%. No high readings. Moisture readings mostly around 11%. Soft in texture. Great leaf and head retention. Good green colour. Not much sunbleaching. Sweet and fresh hay aroma. Great shed and good access to the road for trucks.

Very consistent bale moistures. Fresh sweet hay aroma.

Barley hay baled on 15th October 2025. Average bale weight 650kg. Baled by an 8 string Krone baler. Average moisture 9.8%. No high moisture readings. Fairly even stem length. Normal to soft in texture. Good green colour. Great leaf retention. Good storage and access for trucks

Lovely soft green clover hay in 8x4x3 bales. Average moisture of 21.8 with high readings in the 30’s. Treated with inoculant. Stacked in a new shed with plastic on floor.

Wheaten hay in 8x4x3 bales cut full flower early milky dough. Cured in good conditions with one raking. Has retained lovely green colour with normal to soft texture. Stacked outside under hay Caps. Crop had good start to season with dry finish

2025 awned wheaten hay has very good colour and leaf retention very small amount of sun bleaching
