2025 Vetch Hay

Good line of first cut Lucerne. 60% Lucerne and 40% ryegrass mix. Cut with twin max mower conditioner and raked once curing in a 17 day period. Showing good colour and no black spotting after three rain events totally 29mm. The odd bale has 5% marshmallow and some with a smaller amount of wireweed. Still has good colour, with a fresh hay smell and has a soft texture.

Chamberlin scarifier has had plenty done too it had a new hydro hose and new tires worth a few hundred has bent ram $1500
