Those bales outside do have some staining on stems on exterior of bale. Cooler curing conditions. Cut with a mower conditioner. Bales already in shed have the odd staining on stems. Average moisture of 11.1%. No high readings. Lowest was 8.8% and highest was 14.1%. Very soft in texture and excellent leaf and head retention. There is some wheat in this barley hay. Nice green colour, not too much sunbleaching on the inside of bales. Sweet and fresh hay aroma. Good shed and good access to the road for trucks.
